Neeraj Chopra Practices Javelin Throw Underwater in a Viral Video

India's gold medalist in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Neeraj Chopra, released a gripping video of himself underwater practising his javelin throwing talents. Neeraj Chopra has also seen shadow practising his techniques while wearing the diving gear. He shared the video on his social media handles with a caption that said, "Aasman par, zameen pe, ya underwater, I'm always thinking of the javelin! PS: Training shuru ho gayi hai." Chopra, recently, returned as a gold medal winner from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in the Javelin throw event.

From the qualifying round to the final, Neeraj remained unbeatable in the Olympics. The 23-year-old got off to a great start with a first-round throw of 86.65 metres, securing a spot in the final round. He went on to throw distances of 87.03m and 87.58m, bettering his qualifying throw.
Johannes Vetter of Germany, who was projected to win gold after throwing 94.20m at the World Athletics Tour earlier this year, failed in the final round. India won six more medals, including two silver and four bronze, in addition to Neeraj's gold. Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu won silver in the women's 49 kg category while PV Sindhu won a bronze in women's badminton singles.
Boxer Lovlina Borgohain won bronze in the women's welterweight (64-69kg) category and so did the Indian Men's Hockey team. Ravi Dahiya took home a silver in Wrestling in the men's freestyle 57kg category while Bajrang Punia won bronze in men's 65kg freestyle.
