Bigg Boss OTT Host Karan Johar Pays Tribute To Sidharth Shukla 'I Am Numb'
Sidharth Shukla, the winner of Bigg Boss 13, had only a few days before his demise featured on Bigg Boss OTT.
While fans and colleagues are still coming to grips with actor Sidharth Shukla's terrible demise, tributes continue to pour in from all corners. On the Sunday Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss OTT, director-producer Karan Johar also paid respect to the late star. Sidharth Shukla, the winner of Bigg Boss 13, had only a few days before his demise featured on Bigg Boss OTT.
He'd appeared on the show with his rumoured girlfriend, actress Shehnaaz Gill, and had some fun with Karan Johar and the other participants. A film featuring Sidharth Shukla's moments in the Bigg Boss house during the 13th season was shown as a tribute.
As the video played out, a very upset Karan Johar was seen holding back tears. Karan Johar reflected on the late actor's impact on his fans, friends, and family. He said, “Sidharth Shukla, ek aisa chehra, ek aisa naam jo hum sabki zindagi ka ek ahem hissa ban gaya tha. Bigg Boss family ke favourite member, jo mere hi nahi balki humari industry ke anginat logon ke dost achanak hum sab ko chhod kar chale gaye (Sidharth Shukla, a face, a name that became an important part of all our lives. The Bigg Boss family's favourite member, who was a friend to me and numerous others in our industry, passed away unexpectedly).”
Karan Johar, who was choked up as he talked, said he was stunned at hearing the news.

“This is something we're all still finding hard to believe,” he remarked. It's as though I'm numb; I can't believe it. Sid was a wonderful son, a wonderful friend, and an all-around fantastic guy to be around and with. He won so many millions of hearts with his wonderful energy and his grin, that smile,” he added.
Karan Johar went on to say that Sidharth Shukla's millions of followers were proof of his likability. “Sidharth Shukla, you will be missed. “You will be missed.”
“You and I, we both need immense fortitude to carry on the show,” he declared to the audience. But the show must go on,” she said, adding that it was also something Sidharth Shukla would have wanted. The homage, which aired as part of Sunday's broadcast, was extensively shared on social media by admirers. Take a look at the video provided by a user with the nickname "Ekam Sid Heart."
On Bigg Boss OTT, Sidharth Shukla made one of his farewell appearances onscreen. He also appeared on the reality show Dance Deewane 3 as a guest. On both shows, he was accompanied by Shehnaaz Gill. Sidharth Shukla died of a heart attack on September 2. He was 40 and is survived by his mother and two sisters.
